This hock boot has been designed for secure fit and comfort.  No more bulky batteries, cords or pads that slip or don't secure around the area properly.

The boots come in a pair with left and right

Each boot has 110 LED chips with three frequencies each chip.  Red (660nm) Blue (440nm) and Infrared (850nm).  These can be used as red only, blue only, or all together.

Push the buttons once: Blue/Infrared/Red. This targets not only the surface area but penetrates to a depth of 50mm which is beneficial for deeper structures such as tendons, ligaments, joints etc

Push the buttons twice: Blue/Infrared. This is for treating issues close to the surface such as wounds, scars, heat and inflammation, skin issues. This targets not only the surface area but penetrates to a depth of 50mm which is beneficial for deeper structures such as tendons, ligaments, joints etc

Push the button again: Red/Infrared. This targets not only the surface area but penetrates to a depth of 50mm which is beneficial for deeper structures such as tendons, ligaments, joints etc

If you press the power button for more then 3 seconds the button illuminates blue and the pad will be in pulse mode.

The intensity of the Hock Boot is 150 mW/cm^2 the treatment time for tendon/ligament recovery is 10 minutes. 5 minutes for rehabilitation before and after training.

Conditions of Use

  • When not in use store flat
  • Store in cool dry area
  • Do not let LED side face direct sunlight
  • Do not get wet.
  • The device should be cleaned with a damp cloth only, avoiding chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • The product must not be submerged in water or sprayed with disinfectant.
  • Do not use device when plugged in to charge
  • Always supervise your horse during red light therapy sessions and never leave the horse unattended while the product is in use.
  • Use the product in a dry, clean environment away from mud, rain, water sources, hoses, wet bedding, or damp conditions.
  • Do not use on dirty animals
  • Only use the approved charger, power supply, and accessories provided with the device.

Batteries

These devices all use lithium-ion rechargeable battery. These batteries require regular charging cycles to remain healthy. When left unused for extended periods they naturally loose charge. If the battery drops too low and stays in this “deep discharge” state for too long, the internal cells can become unable to accept a charge again.  The same can happen if you let the product go completely dead (battery wise). Unfortunately, this deterioration can occur even in devices that have barely been used, because the issue is caused by lack of battery maintenance, not wear and tear.  If products are left to go flat give them a 48hr charge to try and give the battery as much charge as possible.
